Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) has been a hot growth stock, but this company has plenty of room to run higher as the firm continues to execute its domestic and international growth strategy. This is a company with huge potential in Restaurant and Services sector as the company's customer base continues to grow and remain loyal. Below is our introduction into its business model, it's strengths, and the buying opportunity that currently exists for Buffalo Wild Wings. Wall Street has not yet realized the full potential of this company as it continues to be seen as a seasonality play in this space. The company continues to prove this stigma wrong. The company has a market cap of $2.06 Billion and reports the next quarter on October 21, 2013. With this in mind, we value Buffalo Wild Wings at $123.00 by year-end of 2013 and $138.00 by May 1, 2014, an increase of 28% from current levels. We strongly feel that this company has the potential to see major upside over the next year and we could see the stock continue to run like Chipotle (CMG) or Panera (PNRA) in recent history. Dining and entertainment demand is growing and Buffalo Wild Wings continues to take market share, as the company has some of the best customer retention rates and average ticket sales in the sector. Akio Kon/Bloomberg via Getty Images Companies are always trying to build for the future: Sometimes it works, other times things don't work out quite as planned. From a tech giant having to rebrand a popular service to one of the more notorious IPO duds of last year bouncing back, here's a rundown of this week's best and worst results from the business world. SodaStream (SODA) -- Winner Naysayers have been saying for years that SodaStream's soda-making appliance is a fad, but the Israeli company just keeps on growing, and it came through with better-than-expected results on Wednesday. Revenue rose 29 percent with double-digit growth across its soda makers, carbonator refills, and soda flavors. In other words, the systems are being used. Earnings grew even faster. SodaStream had 7.4 million shares sold short as of July 15 -- a strong measure of the bearish outlook among investors regarding the stock. That represents a whopping 35 percent of SodaStream's 21.4 million fully diluted shares outstanding, though it's down markedly from the nearly 10 million shares that were sold short this time last year. Those bears have been burned by SodaStreams healthy run in recent months. And, further tweaking the skeptics, SodaStream capped off its report by boosting its revenue and profit outlooks for all of 2013. Microsoft (MSFT) -- Loser All of the tech giants have their own Dropbox clone, vying for a slice of the inevitably gargantuan cloud-hosted file storage market. "We aim to make SkyDrive the place for all your documents, notes, photos, videos and other files," Microsoft began in an April press release touting its own solution. Sorry, Microsoft: You're going to have compile a new name. The world's largest software company lost a trademark fight with British Sky Broadcasting over the Sky name. Sensing defeat, Microsoft has decided not to pursue an appeal and BSkyB will give the Windows watcher a reasonable amount of time to rebrand the service. You would think a t

Chipotle and Noodles are just two examples of the QSR craze. Panera Bread (NASDAQ: PNRA  ) trades at 23 times forward earnings. While not as unreasonably priced as the other two, it's still got a hefty price tag for a company that has already gone through its biggest growth phase.

Advisors' Opinion:
  • [By Evan Niu, CFA]

Once upon a time, I was also an OmniVision (NASDAQ: OVTI  ) bull, thinking the image sensor specialist's lead in backside-illuminated technology gave it a substantial leg up against the competition. When OmniVision lost the iPhone 4S primary camera spot to Sony, that was just the first sign that things may never be the same. The company subsequently lost the iPhone 5 primary sensor, also to Sony. HTC has gone with STMicroelectronicsfor the "UltraPixel" sensor in its One flagship (OmniVision sources the secondary sensor), which lends to the idea that BSI sensors are becoming commoditized. Goodbye, pricing power. I gave up on OmniVision long ago.

  • [By Wallace Witkowski]

Shares of OmniVision (OVTI) fell 13% to $13.89 on heavy volume after the company said it expects adjusted fiscal third-quarter earnings of 28 cents to 44 cents a share on revenue of $310 million to $340 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect earnings of 43 cents a share on revenue of $399.5 million.

  • [By Dan Caplinger]

But if you expand your view of the market, you'll find plenty of big movers and more interesting goings-on. OmniVision Technologies (NASDAQ: OVTI  ) is the big winner this afternoon, soaring more than 19% in the wake of last night's positive earnings report. OmniVision said its cost-reduction strategy had started to bear fruit, revealing a combination of favorable results for its most recent quarter and expectation-beating guidance for the current quarter. In the long run, OmniVision has to demonstrate its ability to keep its image-sensor chips in the most popular smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. So far, though, investors are content with the growth they've seen.
